Funding Opportunities
COACTEA Professional Learning Funding
COACTEA is committed to supporting professional learning initiatives that strengthen teaching and learning across the ACT. Through this funding program, member associations are invited to apply for financial support to develop innovative projects, professional learning opportunities, events and resources that build the capacity of teachers and pre-service teachers.
Purpose and Vision
COACTEA recognises the importance of continuous professional development for members of its affiliated associations. The funding program supports the Australian Professional Teachers Association (APTA) goal of promoting and improving the quality of education in Australia by supporting the growth of members' skills, knowledge and expertise, while fostering excellence in the teaching profession. Through these opportunities, COACTEA aims to strengthen the quality of education across the ACT.
Projects should align with COACTEA's mission of supporting and advocating for ACT Education Associations while providing meaningful benefits to educators and the broader education community. Successful initiatives may also be featured on the COACTEA website to showcase best practice, innovative ideas and valuable professional learning experiences.
Eligible Professional Learning Activities
